The working principle of an SMT printer is relatively simple. First, the PCB is fixed on the working table of the printer, and the solder paste is injected into a device called a scraper. The scraper is a flat metal plate with one side in contact with the PCB. As the scraper moves, the solder paste is squeezed and evenly distributed on the surface of the PCB. In order to ensure the uniformity of the solder paste during the printing process, the printer usually uses a tool called a stencil. The stencil is a metal plate with pre-designed and manufactured small holes, which are located at positions corresponding to the pads on the PCB. When the scraper passes over the stencil, the solder paste is pushed into the small holes of the stencil and covers the pads
