The Yamaha YSM40R concentrates high-speed placement into a machine body just 1,000 mm long. In its four-beam, four-head configuration, RS rotary heads deliver an optimum placement rating of 200,000 components per hour.
Head selection changes the machine’s production role. RS heads focus on miniature chips and components up to 6.5 mm square and 2 mm high. MU heads extend the range to larger packages measuring up to 45 × 60 mm and 15 mm high. A mixed RS/MU arrangement therefore serves a different component workload from an all-RS machine.
Dual-lane handling adds flexibility to board flow, while the published platform capacity reaches PCB dimensions of 700 × 460 mm. Actual output depends on the installed heads, component allocation and production program.
When enquiring with us, identify whether chip-placement speed or a broader component mix is the priority. We specify the installed head combination and feeder capacity so the quoted YSM40R matches the intended assembly work.
