Two beams, each carrying a ten-nozzle inline head, give the Yamaha YS24 its chip-placement capacity. Yamaha specifies an optimum rate of 72,000 CPH within a machine body approximately 1.25 metres long, making output per unit of floor space one of this model’s defining features.

The dual-stage conveyor addresses board-transfer time as part of the production cycle. This matters on chip-heavy assemblies where frequent board exchange can consume a meaningful share of the available machine time.

The YS24 also supports PCB dimensions up to 700 × 460 mm. Its specified component range runs from metric 0402 chips to 32 mm square packages, with a maximum component height of 6.5 mm.
