The JUKI JM-E01 brings component insertion and screw tightening into one assembly platform. It handles work that commonly remains outside conventional chip placement, including large connectors and components requiring mechanical fastening.
Its two-axis head configuration accommodates components weighing up to 400 g and insertion forces up to 50 N. JUKI’s 3D image-recognition technology checks lead tips with different shapes and heights, supporting alignment before insertion.
Screws can be tightened from beneath the PCB, avoiding a separate board-flipping step. For larger assemblies, double clamping extends board handling to 800 × 560 mm.
We review the insertion components, feeding method and fastening requirements together when specifying a JM-E01 equipment package.
