Up to 180 tape-fed component types can remain loaded on the FUJI AIMEX II. Tube and tray units extend the available supply formats, supporting boards with a large number of different parts.

The platform can be configured with up to four placement robots. Different heads divide the work according to component size and handling requirements. With the OF head, the machine accommodates components up to 38.1 mm high, including larger connectors and relays.

Independent dual-conveyor production adds another way to organise mixed production: one lane can continue running while the other undergoes changeover. On-machine Auto Shape Generator creates component vision data from captured images, helping resolve recognition errors during new-product introduction.

These features make the robot, head and feeding configuration more informative than a single headline placement-speed figure.
