Tray-fed components can set the pace of an otherwise fast SMT line. The Panasonic NPM-TT2 addresses this part of the assembly process with front and rear tray-feeding arrangements and placement head options for different component requirements.

The platform offers lightweight 8-nozzle and 3-nozzle V2 heads. Configurable feeding units accommodate tape, stick and tray supply, allowing the machine to work with a broader mix of ICs, connectors and larger devices.

Direct connection with compatible NPM-D3 and NPM-W2 configurations allows tray-component placement to be coordinated with the rest of the line. Alternate and independent placement modes provide further flexibility in allocating work.
