The Universal AC30 is an AdVantis machine built around a 30-spindle Lightning placement head. The head collects multiple components before returning to the board, reducing the repeated feeder-to-PCB trips associated with individual component pickup.
Its component coverage extends beyond resistors and capacitors to compatible IC packages. This allows chip components and a portion of the semiconductor workload to run on the same head. On boards with many repeated placements, the arrangement helps keep the placement sequence moving with fewer pickup journeys.
AC-30L and AC-30S identify different versions, so board capacity and machine specifications should follow the full model designation.
