Ten upper and ten lower convection heating zones give the Heller 1936 MK7 a 3.6-metre heated section for developing the required reflow profile. Its 12-inch heater modules provide a different thermal layout from Heller models built around shorter modules.
The oven accommodates PCB widths up to approximately 559 mm. Three upper cooling zones are standard, with lower cooling available as an option. Air and nitrogen versions allow the process atmosphere to be selected around the assembly requirements.
The MK7 platform also incorporates thermal monitoring, energy management and flux-management features. For production planning, board spacing and the validated thermal profile determine achievable output.
