The Zebra ZT200 family includes the ZT210, ZT220 and ZT230. Within the family, the ZT220 and ZT230 have similar 4-inch print formats but differ in their housing and operator interface. The ZT220 uses a polymer media cover and three-button panel; the ZT230 has a metal housing and graphical LCD with keypad. 

Both models support direct thermal and thermal transfer printing and have a maximum print width of 104 mm. The ZT230 is available in 203 dpi and 300 dpi versions, while the ZT220's resolution should be checked against the exact configuration being supplied.

The dimensions are also slightly different: Zebra lists the ZT220 at approximately 280 × 239 × 432 mm and 7.8 kg, compared with approximately 277 × 242 × 432 mm and 9.1 kg for the ZT230. Those details can matter when a printer needs to fit an existing workbench or mounting location.
